How can you participate?
Presentation formats
Poster presentation
Poster displayed in vertical format (80 × 100 cm), accompanied by a brief flash presentation (3 minutes) in the corresponding session, with the presenter remaining by the poster throughout the session to discuss it with attendees.
Oral presentation (paper session)
Each presenter will give a 10-minute talk, supported by visual material of no more than eight slides: a single slide for the theoretical introduction, and the rest distributed across method, results and conclusions. Each session (4-5 presentations in total) will close with a discussion with attendees.
Symposium
Symposia bring together four or five presentations on a shared central topic, closing with a general discussion among presenters, open to the public. Symposia are proposed by the person who will act as moderator —who may also be one of the presenters—, submitting a general abstract together with the specific abstracts for each presentation. Participants are recommended to come from at least three different research centres. The number of symposia is limited; proposals will be assessed on their topicality, the number of participating centres or research groups, and the quality of the abstracts.

Abstracts should be submitted using the following forms. Select the type of proposal you are submitting:

Certificates
Whatever the format (poster, oral paper session or symposium), all presenters will receive the same presentation certificate; the organisation does not consider any format superior to another, and recommends choosing whichever best suits the content being shared. Moderators, whether of a symposium or a paper session, will receive a specific certificate for that role.
After reviewing the number and formats of the abstracts received, and the time available, the organisation may reassign some works to a different presentation format, to support the communication of content and the overall logic of the programme.

Abstract submission guidelines
Abstracts will be submitted through the forms available on the conference website. Abstracts, for any presentation format, must be submitted in English, with a total length of 500 words and the following structure. A limited number of references is recommended, only the essential ones, following APA style (7th edition).
Conditions of participation
- Registration is not required to submit a proposal: registration fees may be paid once the work has been accepted by the Scientific Committee.
- There is no limit on the number of authors who may sign each work; the conference programme will cite the first three, with the rest listed as “et al.”
- Each registered participant may present a maximum of three works, regardless of format (poster, paper session or symposium).
- To be included in the programme and the book of abstracts, at least one of the signing authors of each work must register for the conference.
- Visual material will always be in English, to facilitate communication; in oral presentations, the presenter will use the language indicated when submitting their abstract; and in discussions, each person may speak in the language they prefer, with all of us making an effort to understand one another in a multilingual setting.
Each abstract must also indicate the thematic axis and area it corresponds to, the language in which it will be presented and, for poster presentations, whether it is a candidate for the VIII Rocío Martín Award for Young Researchers in Environmental Psychology.
Award
VIII Rocío Martín Award for Young Researchers in Environmental Psychology
Young, non-doctoral researchers presenting a poster at the Conference in the field of Environmental Psychology may apply for the Award.
Candidate works may be submitted individually or signed by more than one author, with the person applying for the award always listed as first author. This person may submit only one candidate work, and the work submitted for the Award may not also be submitted in another format (paper session or symposium).
All proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, which will notify the acceptance of each proposal applying for the Award. Candidate posters will be presented in a dedicated session, where the jury will examine the works and discuss their features and most relevant aspects with each candidate. The Award will be announced before the closing of the Conference, at a time to be specified in the programme.
The Award carries a prize of 700 euros. In addition to a certificate, the winner will be exempt from paying the registration fee for the next Conference on Environmental Psychology, as well as from the membership fee for two years as a member of the Environmental Psychology Association. The winning work, along with any receiving an honourable mention, may be published in the journal PSYECOLOGY, provided the authors subsequently adapt the presentation to the journal’s scientific publication format and guidelines.
The jury may declare the Award void; its decision cannot be appealed, and any incident will be resolved by the jury in plenary session, recorded in minutes.
